We bring you 'Not So Strictly' Dance Competition, our version of the hit TV programme.
Four absolute beginners to Ballroom dancing take up the challenge to train hard & then perform their best Waltz & Cha-Cha infront of a supportive crowd of up to 100 friends, family & loved ones.
The evening is a fantastic mixture of dance, bling & good old fashioned fun.

PICKLES DANCE STUDIO has moved to the Hotel Voranova in Son Caliu check details from the timetable.
Pickles dance School is now mobile with classes at Pollensa, Pt Pollensa, Arenal, Son Caliu, Binnisalem, Santa Ponsa.

What a great turn out at the not so strictly 6th Feb over 80 people attended to support there favorite contestant
Next comp is March 27th we have 2 men and 2 ladies line up for the event again should be a great turn out with the media taking part in April and also the big event of the year in May with the champions champion with over 200 people expected to turn up at the Sala Palma Nova in Palma nova

A night to remember...
Not sot strictly dance competition January 31st - results!
Pickles was crowded out at the end of January as two guys from Pirates adventure took on 2 elegant and accomplished ladies in a high quality competitive event. Mark Flores, world champion acrobat eventually took the coveted trophy, having beaten off the spirited competition led by popular Bendinat businesswoman, Debbie Cameron who claimed the runner up position. Gabby Lehenbauer from Calvia Council and Pirates IT manager, Ian Douglas, had also danced their hearts out to much acclaim from their many friends and supporters. Amid the cheers and shouts, popular broadcaster and journalist, Frank Levers, who presented the competition on behalf of Ian and Anne, was impressed at the quality of dancing on the night. Judging by the cheers and whoops from the audience as their favourites competed so strongly to make the final, the first dance off of the year will be long remembered by all who attended.
In addition to their professional demonstration, Ian and Anne danced the popular "vienesse waltz charity whip round", raising a much needed 110 euros for Dr Stoma's Meditteranea in the space of 2 minutes. Thanks to all those who helped make this such a great night - see you at the end of february!
Not So Strictly Dance Competition November 29th - results!
Pickles was packed out last Saturday as popular personalities Kate Mentink, Phil Saint, Ada Drobroczek and late stand-in Jason Swales battled it out on the dance floor. The overall standard was very high as all the contestants gave a stirling performance in the Cha-Cha and Waltz. After a close final, the winner was Phil Saint, whose personality and style just pipped the very graceful Ada Dobroczek into runner up position.
Thanks to everyone who took part and also to those who worked so hard on the night to make the event a success. We look forward to seeing you at Pickles again very soon!

After much searching, we have finally found a venue to bring the fun of dancing to the North of the island. Join us on Saturday 15th November for our buffet dance at the Aparthotel Duva in Puerto Pollensa. Tickets on sale from the venue and from us at the studio. To Pilates Teacher, Lara, who waltzed her way to victory in last weeks Not so Strictly Come Dancing. Lara now joins other recent winners and runners up who are in training to compete in the Champion of Champions night on Saturday 13th December.
Politicians V Pirates in Not So Strictly Come Dancing!
PP politician Kate Mentink and Pirates Ex-Cap'n Phil Saint have agreed to take part in the Not So Strictly Come Dancing competition on November 29. Joining them will be Adda from Flavours and Terry Mott, cricket club member. This is a hotly contested competition and not to be missed!

Starting Friday 19th September at 7pm learn the passionate and sexy Argentine Tango with qualified professional Paola. Classes cost 10€ per person per hour, or save and join at the rate of 35€ per four weeks. Partners recommended - go on, twist his arm!
Pickles Expanding North!
We are hoping to run classes in the Alcudia/Pollensa areas this Autumn and Winter and are currently looking for a good venue to run regular ballroom, latin, salsa and latin in line classes. If you know of a room of about 90 square metres that could be available on a regular basis, please get in touch!

Whilst we are on a travelling theme, we are also available to come to you for private or group lessons! If you want to learn to dance for a cruise, or for a special event and can't get to us in Magaluf, please give us a call. We can also get your dance party going with a swing at reasonable rates!
